What role will you be playing in the agriculture of the future?

Beneficial for animals, nature, soil and people

It’s essential for the agriculture of the future to be beneficial for animals, nature, the soil and, of course, people. Here at Warmonderhof, we provide you with the knowledge and practical experience you need to build the agriculture of the future together with your fellow students, while having lots of fun and gaining an immense amount of know-how. Warmonderhof is a small-scale school giving you lots of opportunities for experience ‘in the field’ while offering individual attention. The agricultural sector in the Netherlands is innovative and dynamic. A fantastic sector to work in. In all kinds of ways: as an agricultural entrepreneur or farm manager, an advisor, in food processing, seed cultivation, care farming and agricultural nature management. If you choose to study at our school, you will be choosing for organic and biodynamic; sustainable and future-proof. Our graduates find work all over the world in a wide variety of professions.

In Dutch

The training at Warmonderhof is held in Dutch. To prepare for this, foreign language students can take a language course in the summer before starting their studies. Please request information via contact.

Is your future green and organic?

An education in agriculture and food is an education for the future. Because we all have to eat, but in a better and healthier way. The agricultural sector is in need of a breath of fresh air from enthusiastic people who realize that things have to change and who also understand how things can be done differently! Maybe you’re one of those people! So: are you inspired by vegetables, fruit or cows, business, mechanisation and sustainability? Then Aeres MBO Dronten Warmonderhof has the vocational training for you, with many opportunities in the rapidly growing green sector: as an entrepreneur/manager, executive or specialist employee.

Tried and tested learning concept

Aeres Warmonderhof is a small-scale school offering lots of practical experience and individual attention. If you choose the BOL (school-based pathway) option, our proven learning model of living, working and learning all in one package ensures that you will become a real professional expert in arable farming, horticulture or animal husbandry in no time. If you opt for a BBL (work-based pathway) trajectory, our rock-solid combination of one day of theory and two full days of practical training a week will ensure that you can give your career a boost in just two years and become part of the group of enthusiastic change-agents who are contributing to a future-proof agricultural sector.

Farm, school and campus in one

Right next to the school lies the working farm: a mixed farm of 85 hectares, encompassing horticulture, arable and livestock farming. If you follow a BOL (school-based pathway) course, you will work on the land every afternoon in your first and third years of study. It’s one of the biggest and oldest biodynamic farms in the country. As a result, you will gain a lot of practical knowledge about the organic and biodynamic way of working. We are a small-scale school, where everyone knows each other. In the grounds you will find the campus, where you can live if you take a BOL (school-based pathway) course. And there is also the Court Hall, where our BBL (work-based pathway) students, who are there one day a week, have their breaks and eat together.
